The brief was to design a menu with a bright, colourful and illustrative visual language. My intent was to incorporate the colours of Punjab with fun character design. The illustrations are inspired by the 'Dhaba' culture and must have food items of the Dhabas.

The illustrations also consist of a typographic punch focussing on the well-known punjabi words.

Dhabas are small restaurants located especially on highways who serve local and authentic food in India.
